The Mystery Ranch Backpack 2 Day Assault gives you the perfect equipment for your daily missions. This backpack stands out primarily with its 3-zipper design, which allows quick access to the contents. It has a main compartment, a padded laptop compartment, a tablet compartment, two zippered mesh pockets and two water bottle pockets. All zippers used are YKK zippers. Thanks to the front, side and bottom Molle straps, the storage space can be increased and more pockets can be placed. In addition, the Air Mesh padded frame is height adjustable, allowing for optimal adjustment on the back. Ergonomic shoulder straps, adjustable chest straps, removable belt and hip straps ensure a high level of comfort. It also has a Velcro surface for identification plates.

Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault
On the outside of the 2 days, Mystery Ranch has placed five MOLLE panels on the front. and three MOLLE panels on each side. MOLLE panels provide the option to add additional pouches.
Or, in my case, threading the carabiners through the board. In addition to the MOLLE packaging, there are also two compression straps for tightening the pack. Compression straps keep your packed gear from shifting during a trip or mission.
There is an adjustable yoke with lifting strap, shoulder strap and plastic frame plate on the back of the 2-day. One thing to note about the 2 Day is that although it comes in two sizes, S/M and L/XL, users will need to make several adjustments to the frame to get the perfect fit.
The chest cover on the shoulder strap includes a shoulder strap for storing communication cables or drainage hoses. In addition to the shoulder strap, the 2 Day also has a detachable belt. This belt is not a padded belt, but distributes some of the weight on the wearer's hips.

On the right side of the back of Day 2 is a quick access zipper to the inner sleeve of the main compartment.

The top of the 2 Day Assault Pack features the top of the 3-ZIP and Y-design used in the Mystery Ranch packs. Two zippered pockets and a loop tape patch are built into the upper wing.
Two zippered pockets help store small gear or navigation devices for easy access. Mystery Ranch also coats all exterior zippers with waterproof urethane to protect your device from moisture. The 2-day loop tape patch provides space for morale or call patches.
Assault Pack, Type Ii
To open within 2 days, pull the top cap up and remove from the package. With the top lid open for 2 days, users can access the main compartment to grab items on top of the pack. Pull down the center zipper to open the main compartment and unfold both sides of the pack.
Inside are two internal trash bags that hold a Nalgene bottle, three M4 or three .308 magazines. The main compartment also has two mesh pockets for small accessories such as pens, 3x5 cards or extra items. I would have liked a slightly deeper mesh pocket, but this is not a bad thing for me.

Along with these four pockets, the 2 Day has two hanging arms on the back of the main compartment. The first arm is used to store tablets or documents.

The back of this case has a sleeve to hold a laptop up to 15 inches or a water bladder. The Mystery Ranch also includes a hanging strap for the hydration bladder when stored in the padded sleeve.
My wife and I enjoyed a day hiking in the PNW. As we hiked around the area, I couldn't find any day wear that suited my needs.
I recently took the 2-Day Assault Pack on a day hike and was pleased with its performance. It has enough space to pack the things you need for hiking. and other spare equipment in case our trip takes longer than expected.
It can also be used as a bag for 2 days, which can be kept in the vehicle in case of an emergency. For my purposes, 2 days will serve well for the day trips my wife and I will be doing in the future.
